nothing will make it grow faster. Cutting hair each month is actually a myth. Your hair on average only grows about half inch per month.

people say washing your hair daily makes it grow faster.alotta people say washing your hair daily strips its off its natural moisture, but i beg to differ. an oily scalp doesnt do your hair any good.

no, it really doees,IF YOU WASH IT EVERYDAY. BUT if your hair is either oily or have used a ton of products, yes wash it everyday. shampooing should being washing out the build up which makes sense if you have oily hair whereas if you have normal/dry, its unnecessary and can cause problems.

i agree, im of viet descent and my hair is naturally silky and straight and black and it grows fast. however my sisters hair is thin as hell and my mom has wavy hair and my sister has curly hair and other sister has really thick and voluminous hair. they dont do anything to it except wash it with shampoo since conditioner is pointless unless you have damaged/coarse/frizzy hair i dont do anything too, back in the day i dyed it, huge mistake. completely damaged my hair, never again.

if only i had normal hair i wouldnt go thru the trouble of washing it everyday , but yeah im cursed with overproductive oil glands in my scalp, so i got to wash it at least every other day... powder is my best bet to absorp the oil building up between the hair washes. washing normal/dry hair daily is the stupidest thing anyone can do... EVER!

great for you, but i was talking to my chem professor about the ingredients and he said theres no way, otherwise other women would be flocking to the product. (and men), in fact he said the ingredients could make your hair feel greasy

Try henna for a color (not sure of the speling)! It's natural and won't dammage your hair! You don't need to take your natural color out because it's the kind of coloration that shows in the sunlight. It washes away after 1-2 months depending on how often you wash your hair! The color does come out on dark hair (I have like really dark brown hair)! I like it a lot!!! Just an idea if you still want to try color :-D

Ahh! I thought it was just me which made me feel so bad since, like you, I had straight hair until I layered it and now it's not as straight unless I straighten it. You do have very pretty hair and you're very good at make up! I'm hooked onto your videos so continue making! Thank you!

@nishal86 - hey :) unless there's sth else behind the problem you have with your hair/glands (see a doctor), you should try NOT to wash your hair that often even though it gets oily so quickly. i know it won't be the most pleasant experience but you need to get your glands to "learn" they don't need to produce that much oil. washing hair dries it up..and your scalp if you di it too often, so, the natural response of your glands is to produce oil as a kind of a protective film.

also, your shampoo may be too harsh. see if you can find an organic one. yolk is good as a shampoo but i prefer bottled shampoo coz it's just easier :) and another thing - keep your hands out of your hair BUT brush it several times throughout the day so the oils spread from your scalp to your hair. they don't look nice on the scalp but your hair will be grateful ;)

don't color your hair...i was thinking the same thing as you "gotta color my hair at least once in my life..", but it turned out really bad and i immediately colored it back to black.. i think you look really pretty the way you are, so don't color~~
